I’m looking to purchase a flash website template (non-exclusively). If I were to buy this template, how difficult would it be for me to incorporate my own images / info into the site and fully customize it? I have graphic design skills, so that wouldn’t be a problem – It’s just that I have very basic flash knowledge

It will be pretty hard. I too had to customize a template monster flash template for a client and I found it a hard task. Their .fla’s incorporate a lot of actionscript and everything is fixed. So you have to make your content fit the page and not the other way around. I’m a programmer/designer but I had to ask for help from my partner who’s more skilled in Flash.

Hello all, I am just wondering if anyone out there knows a little about Flash website templates?
I am looking to upload a Flash Template to my website, but its looking rather difficult to do!!
Once I got it uploaded to my hosting server and would then like to edit the template by adding in my own text/images etc.
Is there any anyone out there that maybe be able to help with the uploading of the Flash files to my server?

I have a GoDaddy account set up with the hosting through Wordpress.
I want a flash theme and I have one that i found that i like. but its different than the wordpress templates, and wordpress doesnt recognize it.
Im a beginner at this, And I just wanted to know how to have my flash template instead of my wordpress blog?
You can do it if you’re using Wordpress the open-source hosted on your GoDaddy server. Don’t use the easy setup GoDaddy gives you.

What kind of software do I need to build a website with this template? Any specific programs that are good?
Is there a program that has a website builder for flash template like this? Something where I can type in the words that I want and it will put in the right code for the website.
Its flash Cs4, Flash CS3 for actionscript 3, or Flash 8. Either way, they’ll set you back about $600.
I’ve downloaded tons of flash templates for my website, and they all are .fla files. I thought Frontpage could make it work but it didnt. Please show me how, thanks.
You can download Flash here for a trail version and at least make some changes to your template (link below). Also to take a look at http://www.modeltemplate.com. They always have good tips, but if you can’t find something, post it on their blog for help
